Housing & Community Development
The Housing & Community Development (H&CD) Office provides home rehabilitation for low-moderate income Cheyenne residents.

The H&CD Office also administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program in accordance with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Code of Federal Regulations 24 CFR Part 570.  Agencies with a 501(c)3 who work with the city's low income population may qualify for these funds.  The yearly application cycle begins in October. Occasionally funding becomes available throughout the year for general service out of cycle projects.

Call 637-6255 to see if you qualify for the funding.

CDBG has been working in Cheyenne for 40 years.

A Notice of Funding Available (NOFA) has been published.  The Fiscal Year 2018 Community Development Block Grant is available.  A training session will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at 2101 O'Neil Avenue, Room 122, Cheyenne, WY  82001 at 3:00 p.m.  The Concept Paper will be handed out at the training session.  If you have any questions please contact Deanne Widauf at 307/637-6255 or dwidauf@cheyennecity.org.
